Predictions is the home for prediction markets, but you will meet the same markets elsewhere on 4Search, in the places where they add context: beside a stock in Finance, beside a bill or a race in Politics, and above ordinary search results.

#In Finance

Finance has its own Predictions pages, in its menu of sections. They cover the Fed and central banks, inflation and jobs, growth and recession, indexes, stocks and companies, crypto, and commodities and currencies, each next to the price it is about. They draw on Kalshi and Polymarket. A stock's page also shows the markets about it. A page in Finance for a market links to the same market in Predictions, and the Finance page says where to find every other market, on elections, sports, culture and world events, in Predictions.

#In Politics

Politics has a Prediction markets page for elections, Congress, the courts, the White House and the economy, with filters by kind, order and source (Kalshi or Polymarket). Pages for bills, votes, members and races show the markets on them. On the other side, an election market's page in Predictions has a The race box that links to the race in Politics.

#Above search results

A search whose words match an open, busy market shows a Prediction markets box above the ordinary results, with up to three markets and a link to all the odds for that search. See Search prediction markets.

The Predictions tab in the row of tabs on any results page runs your words in Predictions.

#One market, more than one page

A market can have a page in more than one service. They show the same odds, with different context around them: Finance next to the price, Politics next to the race or the bill, Predictions with its chart, outcomes and news. None replaces the others.

The venues differ a little: Finance and Politics show Kalshi and Polymarket, while Predictions also reads ForecastEx and Crypto.com. See The venues Predictions brings together.

#Common questions

Is it the same odds in Finance and in Predictions?

For a market on Kalshi or Polymarket, they come from the same venue and are worked out the same way, so they agree apart from timing: each page reads the venue every few minutes. The pages around the odds differ.

Which one should I use?

Use the one that suits what you are doing. Finance is best when you are looking at a price, Politics when you are following a race or a bill, and Predictions when you want the whole picture of a market or to browse by subject.

Can I follow a market from Finance or Politics?

Each service has its own list of the things you follow. Politics can follow markets in its own list, and Predictions has its own Following page. They are separate lists. See What you can follow.
